The beginning

I grew up in Hartville Ohio, the typical Amish boy on a dairy farm.I began pounding nails at an early age as I helped my father build stalls for horses. Dad is a skilled carpenter as well as farmer and he taught us boys to build our own gun cases and pigeon lofts. In 1988, we moved to a small Amish community in Rosebush, Michigan.

The early '90's

Helmuth Holz Haus, the local cabinet shop, had a job opening and i took the job i had long dreamed of. Nearly three years passed as i learned from a professional cabinet maker.

The Mid '90's

Enter 1995. My wife and I decided to move our little family to small town Missouri, where i opened my first cabinet shop, working out of our basement. Three years later, wanting to be closer to family and with the Lord's direction, we moved to Bear Lake Michigan. There our family and business grew for 18 years.

Current Day

September 2016 found us packing nearly everything and bringing our family all the way into the heart of Virginia. We are excited as we anticipate broadening our horizons and bringing quality cabinetry to the East Coast.

I would like to express gratefulness and give credit to my Helmuth Holz Haus experience and the expertise that was developed through working under my talented Boss there.
